After a difficult and frustrating end to his junior season, Verdell Jones is ready to turn his attention towards the recruiting process. The 6-foot-4, 160-pound point guard from Central High School in Champaign, Ill., has a long list of suitors involved in his recruitment, but is going to take his time with the process. However, a couple of schools in particular continue to make a strong push for the four-star prospect.

Before his season year of basketball begins, Jones, the No 81 ranked player in the class of 2008, is hoping to take a few steps forward in his recruitment.

As is stands right now, the four-star prospect is receiving a heavy amount of interest from the likes of Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Kansas, Tennessee, DePaul, Kentucky, Louisville, UCLA, Southern Illinois and Texas A&M.
