A&M hopes to keep winning ways at Oklahoma State
After an extremely impressive beginning to the 2006-07 season Oklahoma State has been reeling as it has lost four of its last five and is in jeopardy of being on the outside looking in when the NCAA tournament field is announced in three weeks.
But the Cowboys (19-7, 5-6 Big 12) have a chance to add a marquee win to their resume when they host No. 8 Texas A&M (22-4, 10-2) Wednesday night at Gallagher-Iba Arena in Stillwater in front of a national audience on ESPN2.
Oklahoma State, however, has been playing with its lineup as head coach Sean Sutton is trying to find the best five to put on the floor. In some games they have gone small while in others they go with a traditional big lineup up front. To combat A&M's frontcourt, which killed them the first time these two teams met in College Station, expect to see Sutton put a big man in the middle.
With Mario Boggan and JamesOn Curry on the floor, anything is possible as Oklahoma State can definitely blow up the scoreboard when those two get hot. But against a defense like A&M's points may be tough to come by.
