Injury can't stop Lucas in win over Country Day

SpartanMag.com ORCHARD LAKE, Mich. - Tom Izzo likes toughness in his basketball players.
But not even Izzo would have expected to see his future point guard Kalin Lucas playing all but 30 seconds of Friday night's game against Detroit Country Day just three days removed from suffering a dislocated shoulder in practice.
After suffering three straight years of narrow defeats at the hand of Country Day, Lucas wasn't about to watch a fourth from the bench in street clothes.
