As it looks right now, Sylvan Landesberg is under the radar. In fact he might not even be known in his own state too much.
The 6-foot-6 junior out of Holy Cross (NY) High School is just fine with that.
One player who may have surprised by Landesberg is McDonald's All-American nominee, Jamelle Horne.
Horne was supposed to be one of the star attractions at the Big Apple High School Invitational last weekend as he brought his San Diego (Calif.) High School team to New York City to square off against Holy Cross. The exciting matchup between Horne and Landesberg never materialized as Landesberg outplayed the Arizona-bound forward, scoring 25 points to Horne's five and leading Holy Cross to the victory.
As of right Landesberg has received interest from Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Syracuse, Villanova, Virginia and Virginia Tech. While no decision has made on where he'll end up next he says he wants to get it out the way as soon as possible.
