Big Apple pair visit Hilltop
January 2, 2007 - Late December's 65-44 Georgetown victory over Navy served as an opportunity for junior Jeff Green to return to his lead scorer role. With its proximity to Christmas, it also can be viewed as a Christmas present of sorts to the Hoya Nation.
Continuing an ongoing theme, the tilt also provided an opportunity for high school student athletes being recruited by Georgetown's coaching staff, led by John Thompson, III, to see the Hoyas in action, before or after visiting the campus.
Add class of 2008 prospects Devin Ebanks and Christian Morris to that list.
The pair arrived at Washington, D.C.'s Verizon Center before the contest, planning an unofficial visit of Georgetown's campus afterward. Ebanks, a swingman attending Connecticut's St. Thomas More prep school, enjoyed the early experience.
