Drew warming up to Tar Heels

TarHeelIllustrated.com RALEIGH, N.C. - At the Glaxo-Smith-Kline Holiday Invitational this week, premier 2008 point guard Larry Drew has indicated a strong interest in North Carolina, and following his team's 57-39 victory over Durham (N.C.) Riverside Thursday night, he broke down some of the reasons why the Tar Heels have jumped to the top of his list.
Williams, who spent quite a bit of time scouting Drew during the open evaluation period this past summer, offered a scholarship through his mother, but it took a little while for that particular message to get relayed.
Drew likes the way that Williams is recruiting him, maintaining regular contact without being a pest, and offering encouragement without adding any extra pressure.
