Anthony Jones has made his return to varsity basketball after playing on the Yates junior varsity as a sophomore due to UIL transfer rules. The 6-foot-9, 185-pound junior forward has made the most of his opportunities, earning all-tournament team honors at the Houston Jaycees tournament.

Jones, ranked No. 51 in the 2008 class, is being recruited by Texas, Arizona, Texas A&M and Baylor as a small forward.
