Wildcats blow big lead in loss to Virginia
What many were predicting as a double-digit victory turned into an upset Sunday night as the Wildcats blew a 19-point first half lead to lose to Virginia 93-90.
Virginia started well in the first-half until Arizona took over and went up 26-16 with 11:00 left in the first-half.
The Cats were doing everything right in the first half and were able to spread around minutes to the younger players. The defense was containing Virginia point guard Sean Singletary and shooting guard J.R. Reynolds was limited due to an eye injury he suffered in practice on Wednesday.
