Ty Walker, a 6-11, 200-pound center from Wilmington, N.C., New Hanover, raised his stature over the summer as a player to watch in the Class of 2008.

Walker has had some visitors in recent weeks, as North Carolina head coach Roy Williams and Wake Forest head coach Skip Prosser made their respective way to Wilmington to see him in an open gym.
