Georgetown in running for Babbitt
August 26, 2006 - According to Luke Babbitt, a highly recruited '08 forward from Reno, Nevada, Georgetown University has made one of his recruiting lists. Based upon his blend of skills and intelligence, along with the impressive list of institutions Babbitt identified as fellow legitimate suitors, any school with a shot of landing him should be highly thought of.
While Luke shared during a recent phone interview "Arizona, UCLA, Gonzaga, Washington, Duke, and Texas" comprise his primary list of schools, Georgetown along with "probably Nevada, Stanford, Illinois" and Syracuse, are also being considered. The 6-foot-8, 212-pound self-defined frontcourt player capable of playing "the three (small forward) and four (power forward)" plans to whittle through the aforementioned 12 colleges and decide "some time next year", possibly after his junior season at Reno's Galena High School.
