Jerryd Bayless recommits to Arizona
He started off as "The Chosen One", a nickname he was given by his peers when he was just an eighth grader, because of how much better of a basketball player he was than every other kid his age at that time.
He had an Arizona offer before he had his first high school textbook. He was being talked about as one of the best in state history before he had scored a single point on the high school level.
A few years later, before his junior year of high school even started, he was known as a Top 10 player in his class, a surefire future McDonald's All-American and one of the few best in the history of the state with two years left to play.
Arizona was recruiting the 2005 class when Jerryd Bayless first started playing AAU basketball.
