Decisions, decisions

Dallin Rogers is almost ready to make a decision. After spending the past week playing with the NorCal Pharoahs black team in Las Vegas' Big Time AAU tournament, Rogers is ready to sit down and decide his future.

With football offers in hand from Utah and Stanford, the 6-foot-5 inch talent has narrowed the field to two contenders. And his choice is intriguing for those who follow the Beehive state's most intense rivalry. "It's coming down to BYU basketball or Utah football," he said. "I don't know. I'm going to wait and see what happens, but right now it's looking like Utah."

"It's basically coming down to whether I want to play basketball or football in college and where I think I'll be most successful at. I think that's what it's coming down to. We'll see." When asked about which sport he prefers at the moment, Rogers replied, "Probably football."

Rogers' team had a good showing at the Big Time, finishing in the top 32. Throughout tournament, Rogers worked on his defense and the team elements of his game, and overall he was pleased with his performance. "Every game we probably had about 30 coaches in the stands watching," he said. "I'm just going to wait and see what happens. I got texts from a lot of coaches, but not any offers yet, so I'm just waiting for that."
