To say Chandler Parsons had a great month of July would be an
understatement. He drew praise early in the month for a solid Nike Camp
performance but the 6-foot-9, 190-pound forward from Lake Howell High School in
Winter Park, Florida took it to higher levels later in the month. After the
Nike Camp he headed down south to the prestigious Nike Peach Jam and took home
tourney high scorer honors, averaging 25.4 points per game.

Then this week
in Orlando at the AAU Nationals, Parsons was again near the top of the high
scorers in the huge event, leading his Nike Team Florida team to the final
eight.

For those obvious reasons Parsons has seen his recruiting picture change
dramatically. Indiana joined the race to get involved before it was too
late.

The long list of schools that have offered Parsons includes Florida, Tennessee, LSU, Oklahoma, Notre Dame, Indiana, Rutgers, South Florida, Miami (Fla.), Arizona State, Wisconsin, Boston College and Marquette.
