Hoosiers watching Delaney closely
It's been a bit of a down year for the Nike All-American Camp this week in Indianapolis. Only a handful of the very top-ranked players from 2007 were in attendance and numbers in general were down from years past. However, it was still an opportunity for several players to prove themselves on a big stage. One rising 2007 player that did just that was Baltimore's Malcolm Delaney, a 6-foot-3, 170-pound point guard that is getting plenty of interest from the Hoosiers.
This weekend at the Nike Camp Delaney showed a real knack for running the point. He is excellent at penetrating of the lane and knows how to set his teammates up in positions where they can score. He looked especially adept this weekend at finding his big men, which is something he prides himself on.
Currently, he holds offers from Iowa State, Maryland, Clemson, and Georgia, but an IU offer could come late this summer if he continues to play well.
