Wright proving himself to everyone
Dayton commitment Chris Wright has had his share of success already after finishing runner-up in the state and being ranked as high as 29th in the 2007 recruiting class. After what experts deemed a shakey start to the AAU season, Wright saw his stock and his ranking drop all the way to 120 in the latest Rivals150. He's been working hard and it paid off at the first of three camps he felt he could prove himself, but the Trotwood Madison senior-to-be remains humble and hungry for more.
Everyone always knew that Chris Wright was an ultra athlete after he ranked second on the SPARQ scale (Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction, Quickness), behind only North Carolina commit Brandon Wright. Chris' 37.7 inch vertical was second at the Nike All-America Camp and he ran a blazing 2.94 20-meter dash. Perhaps experts dropped his basketball ranking because they couldn't see past his athleticsm.
