Offutt offers preview of things to come
There's a lot of excitement surrounding Ohio State basketball, mainly due to the impact of incoming freshmen Greg Oden, Daequan Cook and the rest of a recruiting class that was ranked No. 2 in the country.
But the future is also shining brightly, and that was evident during Ohio State's team camp over the weekend. On display at the event were 2008 recruits B.J. Mullens and Walter Offutt, the latter a 6-foot-3, 180-pound guard with the versatility to play either backcourt position.
Offutt is coming off knee surgery and looks ready to go, and that should help the Buckeyes in future years. Offutt chose OSU over Illinois, Indiana and Purdue.
