Tracy Smith looking at multiple offers
At one time, Durham (N.C.) Mount Zion Academy forward Tracy Smith was a "lock" for Iowa State, according to his prep school coach. But that was before a coaching change at ISU and some big-time program interest in the rising power forward with small forward skills.
So with the Cyclones out of the picture, who is in? Here's a long overdue update on the no. 96 player of the current Rivals150 for 2007.
Smith and Mount Zion head coach Antonio Fozard put their heads together Monday afternoon to come up with all of the schools that have extended scholarship offers to Rivals No. 24 power forward in the country.
Arizona, North Carolina State, Oklahoma State, Florida State, Charlotte, Kent State and Indiana make up that list while schools such as Louisville, Kansas and Memphis are also interested.
