Hummel brings much to the table

GoldandBlack.com INDIANAPOLIS - SYF Players coach Wayne Brumm believes Rob Hummel can be described pretty succinctly.
"Robbie Hummels win championships," Brumm said at this weekend's state AAU tournament in Indianapolis.
The versatile 6-foot-8 all-purpose player from Valparaiso High School has never been one to put up terribly gaudy statistics or physically dominate anyone.
But, he's an excellent passer and ball-handler (particularly for his size), a capable inside-outside scorer, a solid rebounder and an aggressive, instinctive defender vs. as many as four positions on the floor. And that's just a very general overview of the many attributes that have made Hummel a top-100 player nationally and highly coveted recruiting property.
