Blair rounding into form

Peegs.com An ACL injury suffered last year has helped keep 6-foot-7, 240-pound forward
DeJuan Blair from Pittsburgh Schenley High School a bit under the radar. But that fact is about to change. With a slimmer body and a stronger knee, he has been pretty unstoppable this spring under the blocks with his Pittsburgh Jots traveling team.
The Jots won the Pittsburgh Jam Fest over the April 22nd weekend and Rivals.com reported that many were saying that Blair was a "beast" inside that weekend. On the Jots he forms a formidable duo inside with 6-foot-8 forward Herb Pope, the No. 7 ranked player in the Rivals150 for the Class of 2007. Also on the squad is his Schenley High teammate, 6-foot-5 D.J. Kennedy. Both Kennedy and Blair are being heavily recruited by high major programs and Blair has said they would like to play together at the next level but insists they are not a "package deal."
At the King James Shooting Stars Classic tournament this past weekend in Akron, the Jots won their loaded pool (Michigan Hurricanes, DC Blue Devils) and then we had the chance to watch them open tourney play against Team Odom on Saturday afternoon.
