Holloway Begins To Make an Impact
Although he is an unknown to the casual fan, 6-foot-7 sophomore Murphy Holloway is not an unknown player to college coaches. Playing with the South Carolina Ravens this summer, Holloway is looking to make his name known to the casual fan and earn himself a spot in the ranking of scouting analysts.
Holloway began his AAU season quite impressively, with a strong performance at the Boo Williams Classic, where he turned the heads of many fans and coaches in the stands.
Holloway has been hearing from some top programs, with Arizona (his dad's alma mater), Connecticut, Kansas, Villanova, Syracuse, DePaul, Clemson, South Carolina, Wisconsin, Illinois and North Carolina. He is quite open with his recruitment, but three programs have stood out in his mind; Arizona, Connecticut and DePaul.
