Henry Sibley forward Trevor Mbakwe scored his 1,000th point this past week in a win over Simley. He scored 20 points and grabbed 17 boards as the Warriors picked up a needed victory. Mbakwe has had several schools watch him play this year including the Gophers several times and Georgetown whose program has really turned in a new direction under coach John Thompson Jr.
