Battling flu like symptoms that nearly kept him on the sidelines on Saturday night, Peter Jok nearly led his West Des Moines Valley team to wins on consecutive nights. The future Hawkeye scored 24 points in a Friday night win over rival Des Moines Dowling and followed it up with 31 points on Saturday evening in a close loss to a strong squad from Kansas at the Heartland Shootout.
