Ingram ready for all-star games
After graduation early this week, Patrick Ingram will be playing in a series of all star games with the top seniors in the state of Indiana. The future Hawkeye has been working hard this spring, putting up at least 1,000 shots a day preparing for his college career. He talks about his work on the court this spring, his summer plans, and playing in the all star games.
Q: What have you been doing in terms of basketball training since the end of your senior season?
INGRAM: I have been working out with Ronnie (Johnson) and his dad. We lift every day and then we push ourselves on the court getting up about a 1,000 shots a day. We run for 20 minutes or so between lifting and shooting. I've just been working on my jump shot and also my midrange game in the lane. My focus has been on my all around game, working on shooting and handling the basketball.
