If Ted Friedman turns out to be a high-major college basketball player, credit Wisconsin assistant coach Gary Close for identifying him early.

Friedman, a 6-foot-9 prospect in the 2013 class, attended the Badgers' advanced camp this summer and recently returned from an unofficial visit this past weekend. Still, according to his AAU coach, Jake Sullivan, Friedman is flying a bit under the radar.
