Marshall Morgan has already accomplished a lot as a high school football kicker.
But apparently, Monday was the best day he ever had.
"The biggest day of my life was committing to the University of Georgia," Morgan told UGASports Monday, confirming his decision to become the Bulldogs' second verbal commitment for 2012.
The junior from Archbishop Malloy in Miami, Fla, also held offers from Florida, Florida State and Virginia Tech.
He is Georgia's second verbal commitment for 2012, joining Gainesville native C.J. Curry.
With current Georgia kicker Blair Walsh and punter Drew Butler set to graduate after next year, the Bulldogs certainly have a need for Morgan's services.
As a junior, Morgan was the top-rated kicker in the state of Florida for the second year in a row, converting 15-of-16 field goals with a long of 53 yards and eight longer than 43.
That's not all.
As a punter, the 6-foot-3, 195-pounder averaged 43 yards per punt and on kickoffs put all but three of his kickoffs into or through the end zone.
Georgia coaches have told Morgan he would be given the opportunity to do both with the Bulldogs.
More information to come.
