The Pacific Shores Basketball Tournament ran last week at Redondo Union High School and there were some very good teams playing there. Among the teams who played Wednesday were Long Beach (Calif.) Poly, rated the No. 1 team in California, Compton, Calif., Compton (Calif.) Centennial, Sherman Oaks (Calif.) Harvard-Westlake, Palisades, Calif., and Santa Monica, Calif. Los Angeles (Calif.) Fairfax, Bakersfield, Calif., and Lynwood, Calif., played on Tuesday. The finals were on Saturday. Several high D-1 players were on the court yesterday and college coaches were there to watch them.
