As a sophomore, Sam Thompson helped Whitney Young High School in Chicago, Ill., capture a state championship. This season, Thompson hopes to help this Whitney Young repeat, but this time around, he intends to play a bigger role. Thompson spoke to Jayhawk Slant about his junior season and shed some light on his recruitment.
